CARA DE FOGO
Client Má Companhia | "Cara de Fogo" | TUP - University Theatre | Date 2013
Cara de Fogo (Fireface) is a play by Marius von Mayenburg, written in 1997. The play is about the claustrophobic feelings of the new generation, their fear of growing up and being like their parents, exploring the savage counter-currents of emotion that overwhelm a middle-class German family. Kurt suffers from pyromania and, to make matters even more incendiary, he’s engaged in an incestuous relationship with his precocious, provocative sister, Olga. Má Companhia staged and produced this play in University Theatre of Porto, directed by Joel Sines.
